To understand the start of Andex-Rent, we have to go back to 2006 when Joeri Vanhumbeeck, CEO of Cafimo, met Tom Knaepkens. Together, they came up with an idea to offer cars to the French market, and in 2011, Andex-Rent was founded to bring innovation and flexibility to the import and export of vehicles for the B2B market. To continue growing, the management expanded from France to other countries. Over a decade, Andex-Rent grew into an independent player in the automotive trading sector, expanding its operations across Europe. In 2020, CAFIMO successfully exited the venture, selling its shares to the existing management and co-founder.
